Join Justine Barnes as she assist your teens by equipping them with simple breathing, stillness and mindfulness tools, to help calm their minds, overcome anxiety and to improve the overall quality of their lives.
More than 25% of teens are affected by anxiety in some shape or form and many experts are seeing a rise in the level of anxiety and the incidence of anxiety disorders in teenagers. Anxiety can lead to panic attacks, lack of concentration and focus, and can lead to depression.
This workshop will be about cultivating breath awareness and breathing techniques to relax the body and calm the mind, plus simple meditation techniques using breath awareness to still the mind. Justine will be guiding the students on how to integrate these tools when feeling anxious or stressed wherever they may find themselves - so less obvious tools when they are at school or in public and then techniques they can practice at home. The workshop will end with a guided meditation for deep relaxation and healing on all levels.
